When you come to choose who is going to photograph your wedding, you can easily become
confused. How much do I have to pay? What style do I want? Traditional, reportage,
photo-
The answer is that it is YOUR big day and therefore your choice. No one else’s! Your Mum’s & Dad’s will probably expect you to have a selection of the standard group shots, so why not have a mixture of traditional group shots and more casual, more modern reportage coverage?
At Hunterway Photography, we are fully flexible to your wishes and we are not as expensive as you may think!
We will be there on time!
It is YOUR big day, not ours, so we will aim to get a balance of great shots, without being too intrusive and disrupting your day too much. We won’t take over your day bossing people around. That is simply not our style! We’re there to to a job, not to be prima donnas and we don’t want your guests to be left hanging around for ages getting bored whilst we take forever to do the group shots and photos of the bride and groom.
We will usually provide one photographer working on his own, capturing the day and its atmosphere without being too intrusive. We’ll aim to get your main group shots completed in around 45 minutes, depending on the availability and cooperation of the participants of course. Normally we will give you a few hundred shots to choose from.
If you are looking for a small number of shots with absolute perfection in single every one, then we are probably not the right choice for you. That’s simply not our style. For that type of photographer, you’ll probably pay a lot more as they have to work with several assistants and take a long time for each and every shot.

Whether you want standard colour, black & white, or a mixture of the two, we can meet your needs. We can also provide you with a selection of special effects to jazz up your photos if that is to your taste.
We can provide you with loose leaf or bound albums, wedding books or high resolution DVD’s ready for you to print your own photos.
We will aim to get a good selection of posed and candid shots throughout the day, so that you can look at them and remember the atmosphere. We are always flexible and so we expect you to say “can you take a photo of.....” at any time during the day and our answer is always “yes, of course”.
